Apple Cider Vinegar

If you have been following my blog for a while you would have seen me mention Apple Cider Vinegar here and there. It is one thing I ensure I do not run out of. Lately I have opted to get the bigger bottle (32 fl.oz.).Continuing on the heels of a previous post today we will be highlighting apple cider vinegar and its many and varied uses.

Hair:
Dry itchy scalp an issue? Do an ACV wash ,when I did my faux locs about this time last year. After a few days it began to itch at one point it was almost unbearable I tried EVERYTHING!!! to no avail until I discovered the wonder of ACV and warm water my mother assisted and used a wash cloth to wipe my scalp. If you have have bad experiences with braiding due to itching this is the solution.

If you are trying to limit the uses of sulfates and other harsh chemicals often found in shampoo's.You  guessed it ACV is the answer,an excellent wash to clarify I usually add baking soda for that extra clean kick I have also seen where people use activated charcoal as well to ensure that all the build up is cleared.Whatever your hair challenge best believe it can fix it dull hair, split ends, frizz, reset PH levels and hair growth ,What ever your hair woes are get yourself a bottle.

Skin:
Despite doing the most sporadically I am still plagued by insect bites and breakouts and all the other perils attached with this life, having combination skin also does not help. For about a year I have been making my own toner from time to time I tweak it here and there, adding a few herbs mint, lemon grass, orange peel etc but for the most part three ingredients remain tea tree oil ,ACV and witch hazel.

Everything else.......
When I sense an itch in my throat or my nose is stuffy I find my bottle of ACV and honey, I now see my family members reaching for it without me persuading them. If you are trying to  loose weight or curb your appetite ACV is also very effective.A cap full a day keeps the medical bills away,Note however that this is an acquired taste and one that takes some getting use to.I hope you have learned something useful today remember you can always share your take,Until next time ...........
