Transitioning Journey Part 3

Perm rod set (last weekend)
In October 2014 I started using a few products to assist with my transitioning Journey , Today  I wanted to give a bit of an update on  my journey.  I stuck with majority of the products used at the beginning ,with the exception of my shampoo &  conditioners. I loved the Shea moisture transitioning kit, however, I want to try different shampoos and conditioners mainly to see what suits me best. I decided to try out TRESemme to find out what all the buzz was about and for  deep conditioner Queen Helen and Organic's (I read good reviews and they are both very reasonable) .This is actually my second or third time using the hair mayonnaise from  organics , my initial experience  was  back in high school . I chose  the TRESemme  climate control conditioner .

Products in my regimen:

1.TRESemme climate protection conditioner
2.Tropic Isle Jamaican Black Castor oil
3. Eco Styler gel
4. Cantu Shea Butter leave in condition
5.Queen Helene Cholesterol (monthly protein treatment)
6.Organics Hair  Mayonnaise

In addition to these products I also use on a regular basis:
Coconut oil
Olive oil
Aloe vera gel//Aloe Vera
.Glycerin
Apple cider vinegar
Rosemary
Honey

The first four ingredients on my list, are a part of my LOC (Liquid Oil Cream) moisturising regimen. Apple cider vinegar  and rosemary are apart of my wash day routine. This is particularly helpful for people opting to go the sulphate free route, as it can be used as an alternative to remove excess product build-up on the hair. Finally, the last items mentioned I use along with the oils (Coconut and olive Oil) as a  deep conditioning treatment.
Going forward I want to try a few products to assist with boosting and maintaining curls, however, I have a little way to go until I am fully natural. If you have used any of the items mentioned  or have a few suggestion feel free to list them below .

I hope you found this information helpful.
