Beginners Make up Guide

I recently had a conversation with a few friends,we were talking about what I was wearing(make up) the specific products I use,how I started using them, how I achieved a natural look and so on.As the conversation developed I was more and more interested and some what surprised. Not too long ago I was in a similar place, not everyone learns about these things from their mothers or older sister (my mother does not wear make up and my sisters and I don't live in the same time zone)So I had to learn on my own thankful Youtube and Pintrest exist. I decided to share my top products for beginners. First thing first, the most important thing is the canvas your face.Ensure that you are starting off on clean moisturized skin (especially for those with dry skin moister is extremely important).Skin care generally is important and before we even consider makeup we should have a skin regiment. In my opinion the most important product is concealer.Concealer comes in several forms and is used for as the name suggest concealing. Covering blemishes, dark circles, highlighting, contour, evening out skin tone the works. With a good concealer you may not need foundation.Currently my favorite is the LA Girl Proconceal which I have in a variety of shades. It is very affordable, easy to use and comes in a variety of shades.I often times use it on its own to brighten and conceal.

Brown Pencil/Brow Powder Brows can make or break your look, and in recent times they have become a priority of makeup lovers.I'm sure we've all seen some crazy bold brows walking around concealed to the T and i'm sure we want to avoid being a casualies of the brow game.I have had my fair share of brow no nos and I have pics to prove it lol but I will not be sharing. The most important thing to remember is that you are filling in the sparse areas in your brows everyone does it differently, our brows are all different and another important thing to note is that both brows will not always look identical (one Youtubers says our brows are cousins and not sisters) so if one looks slightly different from the other it ok don't sweat it. To start out you can try any brow pencil or powder or even a brown matte eye shadow that matches or is close to your brow colour. You may also want to get a spoolie which is a little rounded brush .which you will use to evenly distribute brow .

Powder Starting off you are experimenting with what works for you,You want to try a few product so lets keep it simply to set that concealer you want to get a powder one that matches your skin tone and you want to just lightly tap that in the areas that you applied concealer(forehead,Under your eyes,Nose e.c.t) Do take caution when applying powder it can give you a cakey look so be sure to find one that is close to your complesion and use a light hand. Next week we'll look at three more product.See you then :).
