Sheet Mask Review

Skin care is one of my major priority there is nothing that I love more than clear ,healthy skin.As a result, I try a few things every now and then. For one I have been using natural products on my skin. For the last year or so as many of you may know, Majority of my skin care is DIY or products that are all natural,Such as African black soap and Shea butter. My toners and rinse-able mask are all home made.
Today I want to share with you a recent favorite of mine Korean Sheet Mask. I have been fascinated with sheet mask before trying.I love the fact they come in such a wide variety, I also love the fact that you simply put it on for up to 30 minutes ( some brands say 15 minutes is good) and go.I have been doing the sheet mask once a week for the past 4 weeks, generally on a Sunday night or Monday morning. my weekly skin prep so far my favorites have been the aloe vera and honey, so excited to try the milk and collagen. I will also do another one I have finished my first batch which contains about twelve mask.Until next time.

OOTD: Neutrals

I hope you are well, today I decided to share my mother's day look,Very neutral and simple. Lately that has been my go to, lighter, simply looks.I have been doing quite the opposite with my hair.It  has grown tremendously. As well as I have learn how to handle it.It already super hot here in Jamaica. Therefore  i'll be throwing it in another  protective style very soon. This year will definitely be one for protective styles,so many cute looks to try out. While minimizing manipulating my hair, definitely a win win in my book. That's all for now so until next time.

A few things I've learnt from my mom

Firstly I want to wish all the amazing moms out there a very happy mother's day.Make every effort to show your mom just how much you love her,a simple card, doing the chores the day, cleaning the house. In light of mother's day I just wanted to share a few things I have learnt from  my mom.

To put others first:
My mother epitomizes the term a servants heart, she is the most giving person I know. She has shown me time and time again that you can make a difference where you are and with what you have. You don't have to have it all to be kind or be humble or smile. You never know how A simply gesture can make someones day.

The value of hard work

She is definitely the hardest working person I know,My mother literally gets up at 5 every morning , recently she had an injury and I had to assume the chores , lets just say I'm still alive, surprisingly. Often times we do not realize the amount and importance of the little chores around the house ,until we have to do them ourselves.

Go after what I want
My mother is also my biggest cheerleader,I remember being younger and getting awards and my mom use to show them to everyone that visits. She has always supported my decision and assisted me in what ever way possible. As well as encouraged me in difficult times. Though we often but heads ,because we are so similar. I try my best to communicate appreciation for the many things she has done and continue to do for me. It's easy to get caught up in life and forget  to appreciate the people that have assisted us along the way ,but today take sometime out to acknowledge the women that have assisted ,inspired and encourage you along the way.

Thought of the week
Do what you love.
Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do you.

Shop Miss A Haul

Shop Miss A simply put is an online dollar store, everything is $1 (US dollar).Below are some items I ordered recently. There are many reviews on this site , so feel free to do your own checks. From my purchase it's hard to pick a clear favorite. However I love the brush cleaner,  ,the madly matte lipsticks  and  the face mask. All things considered I would definitely purchase a few more things from Shop miss A.....on to my purchases.

FaceMask

Possible my favorite thing from my purchase , these no rinse mask soothes the skin leaving a nice refreshed after effect. Also I choose to stick with the Korean Brand ,they are know for skin care.
